Alpaca shows are a great way to meet alpacas and their owners.  The National show is held each year as part of the Alpaca Expo and Alpaca sections are also held at many A&P shows across the county.  For a full list of shows that you can attend visit our Show Calendar.

Showing alpacas is a fun experience for both exhibitors and spectators. If you are interested in finding out about alpacas then attending one of the many shows put on by the Royal Agricultural Society in New Zealand is a good starting point. If you are thinking about having alpaca on your lifestyle block then go along to a local show and talk to the alpaca breeders there. They will be able to give you plenty of information to think about.
