It is with disappointment that the National Council must advise the membership that the National Show for 2024 will not be going ahead.
Despite the best efforts of the National Show working group, the budget as presented showed a forecast deficit of over $25,000.00.
It is the responsibility of National Council to provide due diligence and governance over the association’s funds. As a result, we could not support underwriting this level of loss. This was a unanimous decision.
We hope that the members understand this decision as it was not made lightly.
