The biggest Northern Region event for the year is on Sunday 11th May.

We have our Colourbration Fleece Show, the Prizegiving will be held at 9.30am. This will be a great opportunity to get your fleeces accessed by judge Molly Gardner.

Member support is important for this event as the number of fleece shows has reduced over the years, so please take the time to enter your fleeces.

After the Prizegiving we will have the Northern Region AGM (10.30am). Please note that positions need to be filled for next year and this is a great chance to gather a new team and expand upon the work done over the last few years.

Fleeces should arrive no later than Friday 2^nd May 2025

Workshops 

1. Take your knowledge to the next level - Take a deep dive into understanding your alpaca fleece, this will be a fascinating workshop with plenty of opportunity to gain knowledge on the more technical side of fleece characteristics.
2. Put your knowledge into action and plan your breeding program with progress towards your goals in mind. Molly has genuine expertise as a respected alpaca breeder and also as a keynote speaker at numerous events across both America and Europe, conducting hands-on workshops locally and internationally. Additionally, Molly has been involved in judging and judge training over the last decade or so in New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.

Cost: $20 per membership - Non members very welcome at $20 per person. Morning/afternoon refreshments and BBQ lunch included.
