It has been brought to the attention of the Show Working Group that Convenors for the Ellesmere, Oxford and Kumeu shows are needed in order to keep these shows running.
The shows have been, in the past, all Breed Only Shows and are usually held as below:
Are you a person that would enjoy working in a rural community to promote alpacas? The Alpaca sections of these Shows are looking for you.
Part of the role of a convenor is to communicate with the A & P committee via meetings etc. and most A & Ps are helpful and supportive. The Show Working Group and the Regional Committees are willing and able to support the next interested conveners in whatever way they can.

Show Working Group members will be at the upcoming AANZ AGM in Christchurch on the 22nd June or you can attend an upcoming Conveners and Stewards workshop in Christchurch on the 29th June 2024 to gain more information and meet fellow Convenors and Stewards.
